Follow Friday (4)


Happy Friday Everyone!

This weeks question is:


Q. Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep revisiting it.


A. Now this may sound a bit cliche but the one series i can never get enough of is Harry Potter. Yes, Harry Potter. I'm sure most of you can relate to me on this series and understand my need for my nose to constantly be in it's pages. Why? Because it's brilliant, that's why. No matter how many times i read the books or how many times i watch the movie adaptations i learn something completely new and EVERY TIME WITHOUT FAIL it amazes me. Those 3 wizards have been there for me since they first came to life in 1998 and they will continue to be there until my hair has grayed and i own 12 cats.

    I agree!! HP will be with me until I'm old and gray. Maybe wont have 12 cats, but possibly, 12 dogs!

    I knew Harry Potter would be a popular answer this week. That's exactly how I feel - they've always been there for me and always will be. Other people come and go, but Harry, Ron and Hermione will always be there.

    Lol about the cats! :) I really like the HP books, too. I would always reread them before the next one came out. I meant to do that again before the last movie came out but never did get around to it.

    I have NEVER read Harry Potter--but I've seen mention of it everywhere today, and my brother owns them all, so I think I need to do some reading!

    hahaha your answer is perfect! I literally said the exact same thing for my FF. There's just so much detail that you tend to lose when you read the books, so its always fun to go back and reread parts and have those "ahaaaa" moments. I'm going to be in a senior center with my copy of Harry Potter without a doubt.

    Amen! To HP and to twelve cats. I keep forgetting that I haven't read the final book yet. (shame!) I think I'm not ready for it to be officially "over," haha. I promised myself that I'd read it the next time I re-read through the series.
